1955 Berlin’de doğdu 1974 Liseden mezun oldu 1974/76 Çeşitli seramik atölyelerinde stajyerlik ve çalışma deneyimi kazandı. 1976/81 “Burg Giebichenstein, Halle Sanat ve Tasarım Üniversitesi’nde Gertraut Moehwald ve Lothar Sell ile birlikte çalışmalarda bulundu. (Ayrıca Heidi Manthey ve Lutz Holland ile de çalıştı.) 1981/81 Lisansüstü eğitimini “Burg Giebichenstein”da gerçekleştirdi. 1981 VBK adayı (GDR’nin Sanatçı Derneği) 1984 VBK üyesi 1982 Metal tasarımcısı Jürgen Steinau ile vakıf ve atölye kurulumu, Friedrichshagen, Berlin 1986 Römhild Seramik Sempozyumuna katıldı, Almanya 1989 “Kunst und Form” sanatçı derneği üyesi, Berlin/Brandenburg. 1992 “Contemorary East European Ceramic” Seramik sempozyumuna ve kongresine katılım, Filedelfiya, Amerika 1995/01 Burg Giebichenstein – Halle Sanat ve Tasarım Üniversitesi’nde eğitmen 1995/97 Berlin-Weissensee Sanat Akademisi’nde eğitmen 2001 Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Üniversitesi’nde eğitmen, Greifswald 2001’den beri VHS Koepenick’te eğitmen 2000 Hartmannsdorf, Almanya Seramik Sempozyumu’na katıldı. 2006 Honolulu, Amerika Seramik Sempozyumu’na katıldı.
